“Mishkat” launches the summer talent program for the sixth consecutive time in a row
Mishkat Interactive Centre، an initiatives of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, launched today MAWHIBA/Talent summer program (The Kingdom of Sustainable Energy), with the participation of 70 talented middle school students for the sixth year in a row. This program comes under the supervision of King Abdul-Aziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA) in cooperation with a number of public and private agencies that aims to create the environment for talented students, train them and increase their skills in vital areas for better future generations.
Mishkat Interactive Centre was keen to confirm on the partnership with MAWHIBA through the provision of an integrated scientific program in the field of sustainable energy as lectures, workshops, practical applications and scientific visits. The first day was dedicated to host students with their parents to familiarize them with the staff, featuring segments that allows the staff to introduce themselves and engage with students through enrichening and entertaining programs that have been scheduled within the activities.
MAWHIBA summer program will last for three weeks daily from 8 am to 4 pm. The activities of the program are divided into three main routs: energy discovery route, energy program route and scientific research route, in addition to other programs that include scientific trips outside the centre that are Coordinated according to the program plan.
Mishkat Interactive Centre has a team of young Saudi cadres trained locally and internationally on programs of talented students and management of scientific exhibitions with safety precautions and equipment’s, they also received evacuation and first aid courses. The program will conclude with a presentation of the students’ research works and ideas, and special thanks and honours to all participants.
