In partnership with The General Administration of Public Education in Riyadh, “Mishkat” Hosts a Briefing for the “Student-Led Scientific Forum”
Mishkat Interactive Center, one of the initiatives of King Abdullah City for Atomic Energy and Renewable, hosted the “Student-led Scientific Forum” program, which was organized by the Ministry of Education within the Kingdom’s main projects.
About 60 teachers and supervisors of students’ activities has attended the briefing, as it started with an orientation tour around the Center, through which they learned about the applications of atomic and renewable energy and its future in the Kingdom. In addition, they have attended a workshop where they were briefed on the “Student-led Scientific Forum” program, as well as an introduction on scientific research.
The program is considered an educational gathering that brings together students all around Riyadh region, through which they can work on research projects according to topics and subjects for each school grade. They will then discuss it with the experts and exchange different views in an open dialog, and concludes it with scientific recommendations of the participating researches to represent Riyadh region in the national gathering, which will be held in Unayzah next month.
The program’s aim is to develop student’s skills and present the students’ scientific research. In addition to enriching the scientific and skills aspect of research topics, and preparing students for educational, social and cultural interaction at the upcoming scientific occasions.
