Executive Director of King Abdullah International Humanitarian Foundation Visits Mishkat Interactive Center
His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Executive Director of King Abdullah International Humanitarian Foundation, visited this morning Mishkat Interactive Center (One initiative of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy(. His Highness was welcomed by the deputy director Dr. Walid Abu Al-Faraj, the dean of Jazan University Dr. Marai Al-Qahtani, his excellency the secretary-general of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity Dr. Adel Al-Quaid, the General Supervisor of Mishkat Interactive Center Dr. Ibrahim Alawi, the General Supervisor of competitions in “Mawhiba/talent” Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Qweizani, the Executive Director of the Operations Sector in King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy Eng. Ahmed Al Sadhan, and the Executive Director of Mishkat Interactive Center Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Hujailan.
During his visit, his Highness was presented with the content of Mishkat Interactive Center including educational programs and contributions that aims to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable energy usage and its’ positive effects on environmental and economic levels. His Highness then watched the film “Kingdom of Sustainable Energy”, which answers three main questions: Why the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia? Why atomic and renewable energy? Why now?
Through his visit, his Highness met 26 students whom were nominated by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity to participate in the INTEL ISEF 2017 competitions, which will be held in the United States of America during 14-19 of May. His Highness reviewed the students’ projects and researches that they have presented on several specialized scientific fields; he then encouraged the students and motivated them to win the international awards and to be the best ambassadors for their religion and their homeland.
