
Mishkat Ambassadors’ Program Returns in Collaboration and Partnership with the Ministry of Education
Mishkat Interactive Center –an initiative of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy- launched the program “Ambassadors of Mishkat” in cooperation and partnership with the Ministry of Education in the Ministry’s Agency for Education -General Administration of Educational Supervision- within the operational plan of the Ministry, which contributes in the renovation and innovation in the scientific teaching methods.
The program trains instructors through specialized scientific workshops aimed to simplify sciences of energy set out in the curriculums and prepares science instructors to become ambassadors of Mishkat Interactive Centers in various regions of the Kingdom. The ambassadors will acquiring skills in interactive learning methods to communicate atomic and renewable energy sciences to other teachers in order to convey energy science to students and create an interactive learning environment within the classroom through workshops and interesting experiments.
The program was prepared through a strategic partnership between Mishkat and the Exploratorium Museum in San Francisco – USA.
We concluded the program “Mishkat Ambassadors” with two stations this year: first station was in Asir region where 31 educational instructors from Abha and Khamis Mushait were trained, and the second station launched in Taif governorate that targeted 32 educational instructors.
The program “Mishkat Ambassadors” has been implemented in the past years in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and in cooperation with the Administration of Education (Al-Qassim, Yanbu, Tabuk, Hail, Eastern Region, Makkah and Jeddah), and has achieved outstanding success and results with God’s will by reaching 10,175 benefiters.
