Mishkat Interactive Center, one initiative of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, had begun with the preparations to host visits from school students for the second semester this year, 2018.
In the first semester, Mishkat received about 18,000 students who were presented with many programs and scientific workshops.
The Center provides visitors with the opportunity to explore various energy sources and how to utilize them through many interactive scientific exhibits, which contributes to the knowledge of energy production methods in its’ varied applications and how to use them in a fun way.
Mishkat Interactive Center had opened its’ doors to host visitors since 2012, and has so far received more than 150 thousand visitors.

Mishkat Interactive Center, an initiative of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, held the “Mishkat Plus” program during the mid-year break, titled as “Live the Energy” for the fifth consecutive time since the launch of the Center in 2012.
The program is designed for middle school students from the age of 13 to 15 years, to participate in a range of enriching activities, which supports the vision of Mishkat in motivating the next generation of energy innovators.
The program aims to expand the student’s interest in the future of nuclear and renewable energy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition, it provides them with knowledge and confidence, and encourage them in the fields of energy science, applications and possibilities related to atomic and renewable energy. As well as offer the students with career selections, motivating each to pursue their choice.
