Square Mishkat brings a flavour of the future to events at Modern Heritage Square.
Mishkat Interactive Center for Atomic and Renewable Energy presented their blockbuster exhibition Saudi 2050 in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah as part of the Modern Heritage Square events. The inauguaration on Thursday 24th of Rabi Al-Awal was attended by Dr Khalid Tahir, Secretary of Madinah.
Saudi 2050 introduces a world of future possibilities enabled by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s realization of a sustainable energy mix. From programming a robot to designing a vehicle of the future, visitors discover how their everyday lives may be transformed, and be inspired to create their own ingenious energy innovations. The exhibition forms part of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) outreach program for inspiring young people to be tomorrow’s energy innovators.
Saudi 2050 will continue to tour around the Kingdom. Mishkat Interactive Center is permanently located in Riyadh.
The events of the Modern Heritage Square are held at King Fahad Park during the mid-year vacation. The Secretariat of Madinah has organized the Festival as part of its educational, recreational and awareness activities and as part of activating public facilities for inhabitants and visitors. The Festival consisted of four main sections: Al-‘Ainieh Market and Street – Child & Family Theatre – Woman & Child Corner – Social Images.
